Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PageBee LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“PageBee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website-building, hosting, and business-management platform and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.
1. Our role: controller and processor
We act as a controller for information about the businesses and account holders who use the Service (our customers). For personal information about your customers and site visitors that you collect through the Service (for example, leads, bookings, chat transcripts, and customer records), you are the controller and we act as your processor / service provider, handling that information on your behalf to provide the Service. You are responsible for maintaining your own privacy notice to your customers and for obtaining any required consents.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information — your name, business name, email address, mobile phone number, and login credentials.
- Business content — the business details, services, hours, media, and other materials you enter to build and operate your site.
- AI knowledge base — text, documents, and images you upload or add so the AI can answer questions; these are processed and stored to power AI Features.
- Payment and billing information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We store payment references and status, not full card or bank numbers.
- Communications — messages, support requests, and feedback you send us.
2.2 Information about your customers (processed on your behalf)
When your site visitors and customers interact with your Generated Site, we process information they provide or that is generated, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, message content, lead and inquiry details, appointment and booking details, chat transcripts, customer records (CRM), and payment references. We handle this as your processor to provide the Service.
2.3 Information collected automatically
- Usage, device & log data — pages viewed, features used, actions taken, IP address, browser and device information, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used for authentication, preferences, security, and analytics (see Section 5).
- Analytics and session recording — we use product analytics that may include session replay of interactions with our dashboard (see Section 5).
3. How we use information
We use information to: provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service; generate and host your site and power AI Features; process payments and manage billing (including Setup Fees, Subscription Fees, upgrades, downgrades, and usage); send account, transactional, and service notifications (including by email and SMS where you have opted in); provide support; understand and improve product usage through analytics; detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. AI processing
To generate your site and power the website chat assistant and related automations, relevant content—such as your business details, your knowledge base, your site content, and chat messages—is processed by AI models, including through third-party AI providers acting as our subprocessors. Chat interactions may be used to operate the assistant and, where enabled, to update your knowledge base so it improves over time. We apply reasonable safeguards intended to keep answers grounded in your information, but as described in our Terms, AI outputs may be inaccurate and are your responsibility to review. We do not use your customers’ personal information to train third-party foundation models except as necessary to provide the Service.
5. Cookies, analytics & session recording
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (such as keeping you signed in and securing the Service) and for product analytics. Our analytics provider may capture events and, through session recording (replay), a reconstruction of interactions with our dashboard (such as clicks, navigation, and page interactions) to help us understand usage and improve the product.
6. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we process personal information on the bases of: performance of a contract (to provide the Service); our legitimate interests (to secure, operate, and improve the Service and prevent abuse); consent (for example, for SMS alerts and non-essential cookies, where required); and compliance with legal obligations.
8. Your customers’ data
Information your customers submit through your Generated Site (leads, bookings, chat, customer records, and payment references) is processed by us as your processor and made available to you in your dashboard. You are responsible for how you use that information, for providing your customers a privacy notice, for obtaining any required consents (including for chat, cookies, communications, and any recording), and for honoring their privacy requests. We will assist you with such requests as reasonably required.
9. Payments & card data
Card and bank details are collected and processed by Stripe through its secure payment fields; we do not store full card or bank numbers, keeping our card-data scope to the minimum (Stripe handles cardholder data). We retain payment references, status, and related metadata to operate billing and payments.
10. SMS / text messaging and mobile opt-in
If you opt in to text (SMS) alerts in your account settings, we send you automated transactional notifications about your business activity—such as new leads and booking requests—at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance.
11. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it. After account closure we may retain limited information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as records of transactions).
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and minimizing the sensitive data we store (for example, we do not store full card or bank numbers). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials.
13. International data transfers
We and our providers may process and store information in countries other than yours. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required by law (such as standard contractual clauses).
14. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent (which does not affect prior processing). You can update your account information and manage email and SMS notification preferences from your dashboard, or request deletion of your account. To exercise a right, contact us at the address below; we will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. If your request concerns data we process on behalf of a business (your customers’ data), we will refer you to, or act on the instructions of, that business.
U.S. state privacy rights
If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a privacy law, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and certain targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
15. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
16. Do Not Track & global privacy controls
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” or global privacy control signals. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals; otherwise, industry standards for these signals continue to evolve and we may not respond to all of them.
17. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
