Questions, answered.
Everything about your free preview, what it costs, and what happens when you launch.
Your free preview
Do I pay anything to see my preview?
No. Your preview is a real, working website built for your business, and viewing it is free. No account, no card, no commitment.
Can I ask for changes before I decide?
Yes. Tell your sales rep what you'd like different (wording, photos, colors, sections) and they'll update the preview so you can see it before you decide. If you got your preview by email, just reply to it.
How long does my preview stay available?
It doesn't expire. Take your time; the link keeps working until you launch.
Pricing & billing
What does it cost?
Each plan has a one-time setup fee and a monthly fee:
- Nectar: $399 setup + $39/month
- Honey: $699 setup + $89/month
- Hive: $999 setup + $179/month
If your sales rep offered you a discount, it's already applied to your preview's price and to what you're charged. See everything each plan includes on the pricing page.
When do I pay?
Only when you're ready to launch. Click “Ready to launch” on your preview, create your account, and pay the setup fee and your first month together. Nothing is charged before that.
When does the monthly fee renew?
Your first month is paid at launch, and the plan then renews monthly from that date until you cancel. If you have a first-year monthly discount, it applies automatically for its months and then your plan's regular monthly price applies.
Are there any other costs?
Prices are before any applicable taxes. If you take payments from your own customers through your site, card processing fees are charged by Stripe. Text messages and AI replies include generous monthly allowances; sustained heavy use beyond them may be billed separately. Details are in our Terms (section 5).
Are fees refundable?
No. All fees, including the setup fee, are non-refundable. The setup fee pays for work that's already done by the time you launch. That's exactly why you see your finished website first and only pay once you're happy with it. See Terms section 5.2.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect right away: you pay the difference in setup fees, plus a prorated amount of the new monthly fee for the rest of the current month. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. See Terms sections 5.3–5.4.
Your website
Can I use my own domain name?
On the Honey and Hive plans, yes. We'll connect a domain you already own, or register one for you (standard domains are usually included; premium ones may cost extra). On Nectar, your site gets a pagebee.com web address, and you can upgrade any time to use your own domain. See Terms section 12.
Can I add a page that isn't on the list?
On the Hive plan, yes. Describe the page in your own words — a seasonal offer, a menu, a page for one service — and our AI builds it in your site's design. An AI improve button turns a rough note into a clear description first. Each custom page uses one of your plan's page slots (up to 3 custom pages). Custom pages are a Hive-only feature: if you move to a lower plan, they're deleted from your site.
How soon will my site be live?
We launch as soon as your payment clears. If you're connecting your own domain, it can take up to 48 hours for the internet to start sending visitors to your new site.
Can I make changes after launch?
Yes. Every plan includes updates each month (Nectar: 2, Honey: 5, Hive: unlimited within fair use). You can also edit many things yourself from your dashboard.
Who owns my website?
You own your content: your text, photos, logo, and business information. The design, templates, and platform that run the site belong to PageBee and are yours to use for as long as you're subscribed. See Terms sections 8–9.
Commitment & support
Is there a contract? Can I cancel?
No long contract. It's month to month and you can cancel any time from your dashboard. Cancelling stops future payments and takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for; after that your site may be taken offline. See Terms section 5.8.
How do I get help after launch?
From the Help & Support section of your dashboard: step-by-step guides, plus support requests to our team. Response times depend on your plan: Honey gets a reply within 48 business hours, Hive within 8, and Nectar as soon as we can.
I'm talking to a sales rep. Who are they?
PageBee works with independent sales reps who help local businesses get set up. Your rep can answer questions and request changes to your preview, but your account, billing, and support are always with PageBee directly.
